GRRL! SUMMARY:
- EMILY COTTY delivered a solid performance for R-ace GP, finishing 17th overall with a best time of 1m43.204s – just 1.135 seconds off the ultimate pace set by Niccolo Maccagnani. In a field of 38 drivers where only the top 13 managed to crack into the 1m42s bracket, Cotty’s consistency throughout the three-day test showed she’s adapting well to the highly competitive F4 environment.
- NINA GADEMAN proved her mettle for Prema, clocking 1m43.228s to finish 20th overall and within striking distance of Cotty. The fact that Gademan was running with the powerhouse Prema team – which dominated the timing sheets with multiple drivers in the top 10 – speaks to her potential in what was clearly a development-focused test session rather than an all-out qualifying simulation.
- Both women held their own in what was essentially a 36-male, 2-female test session, with neither driver appearing to have any pace deficit that wasn’t explained by experience levels and team resources. While GINEVRA PANZERI also participated for AKM Motorsport, finishing 35th, the real story here is how Cotty and Gademan showed they belong in this highly competitive junior formula environment.
