Khloe's bio:

Khloe McGill is a Scottish kart racer from Bo’ness who’s been breaking lap records in a pink go-kart named Champion since she was six years old. Now competing in the Micro Max category at speeds up to 70mph, she’s already earned her spot in the F1 Academy’s Champions of the Future program—and she’s not even a teenager yet.

EARLY YEARS

Racing isn’t something Khloe stumbled into—it’s literally all she’s ever known. At just four months old, she was already trackside, watching her dad Steve McGill compete. “I just loved the speed, the smell, everything,” she said[1]. By the time she was old enough to ask Santa for something serious, she knew exactly what she wanted: a go-kart. In 2020, at age six, she got one—a pink C50 gas-fueled machine capable of hitting 45mph. She named it Champion, and the name turned out to be prophetic. Two years later, she was competing in organized karting and winning.

OTHER INTERESTS

No information available.

EARLY SUCCESS

McGill didn’t ease into competitive karting—she dove straight in and started breaking records. Racing in her signature pink kart, she began racking up trophies at local track meets, quickly making a name for herself in the Scottish karting scene. By age ten, she was already competing at speeds around 70mph in the Micro Max category, a significant jump from her backyard beginnings[2]. Her talent caught the attention of selectors beyond Scotland, and she began racing “down south” in England, expanding her competitive footprint across the UK[3]. She competed in major series including the Ultimate Karting Championship at tracks like Dunkeswell and Larkhall, and the prestigious Wera Tools British Kart Championships, where she consistently placed in competitive fields[4][5]. Her early performances weren’t just about participation—she was setting lap records and proving she belonged among the best young drivers in the country.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

  • 2022: Named to F1 Academy’s Champions of the Future Academy program in the Minis category (ages 8-11)[6].
  • 2023: Competed in the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy at Le Mans, finishing P14 in the Micro Max Final[7].
  • 2024: Finished 7th overall in the Wera Tools British Kart Championships Micro Max category with 565 points across 12 rounds, racing for Sam Pollitt Racing[8].
  • 2025: Registered to compete in the Wera Tools British Kart Championships with SFR Motorsport[9].
  • 2025: Competed in the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy at Le Mans for SFR Motorsport[10].
  • 2025: Secured 4th place finish in Race 27 Micro Max Final at Ultimate Karting Championship Round 6 at PFI with a time of 12:01.45[11].

INSPIRATIONS

Khloe’s biggest inspiration has always been right in the garage with her. Her father Steve McGill has been a racer himself, and his involvement in motorsport meant Khloe grew up breathing in fuel fumes and watching chassis setup before she could walk[12]. That early exposure didn’t just familiarize her with the sport—it made her fall in love with every aspect of it, from the mechanical to the competitive.

REPUTATION

McGill has built a reputation as a fast, fearless competitor who isn’t afraid to stand out. Her pink kart—which could easily be dismissed as a gimmick—has become her calling card, a visual statement that she can be feminine and fierce at the same time. She’s known for being aggressive on track, often topping practice sessions and qualifying well[13]. Competitors have learned not to underestimate the girl in the pink kart; she’s broken lap records and consistently runs at the front of the Micro Max pack. Her acceptance into the F1 Academy’s Champions of the Future program—a pathway designed to develop young female talent toward professional motorsport—signals that the broader racing world sees her as more than just a regional talent.

FUTURE GOALS/PLANS

Khloe has never been shy about her ultimate ambition: she wants to race in Formula 1[14]. It’s a audacious goal, but she’s already on a pathway that makes it conceivable. Her inclusion in the F1 Academy’s Champions of the Future Academy for the 2025/2026 season puts her in an elite development pipeline specifically designed to create opportunities for female drivers[15]. As she continues competing in the British Kart Championships and international Rotax events with SFR Motorsport, every podium, every lap record, and every race builds the foundation for that dream. She’s starting exactly where every F1 driver starts—in a kart, going flat-out, refusing to lift.
