• JESSICA HOWDEN from Team Trasimeno topped the WorldWCR crash statistics with six spills in 2025, while her American teammate SONYA LLOYD recorded five crashes. Despite leading the crash count, both riders were part of a championship that showed remarkable improvement in safety and control compared to its inaugural 2024 season.
• WorldWCR delivered the most dramatic safety improvement across all championships, posting a stunning 39% decrease in crashes from 2024 to 2025. This substantial drop demonstrates that the women’s series quickly matured beyond its debut season growing pains, with riders and teams finding their rhythm and bike setups that worked.
• At the other end of the spectrum, 2025 championship contenders ROBERTA PONZIANI (Klint Forward Racing Team) and CHLOE JONES (GR Motorsport) tied with eight other riders for the fewest crashes at just one apiece. Their clean riding contributed to their strong championship finishes of third and fourth place respectively, proving that consistency pays off when the title is on the line.
