FULL BIO: Sienna Wildgust
Sienna Wildgust made history in 2024 as the youngest female competitor in NHRA Pro Stock when she debuted at the Gatornationals at just 17 years old, continuing her family’s three-generation legacy in drag racing.
EARLY YEARS
Growing up in Ontario, Canada, Sienna was immersed in motorsports culture from birth as the daughter of Pro Mod racer Scott Wildgust and granddaughter of Sportsman class racer Paul Martin. By age 7, she was already begging her father to let her race her sister’s car, and at 8 years old, she officially began her racing journey in Jr. drag racing. After turning 16, Wildgust started bracket racing a ’68 Camaro, further cementing her determination to pursue professional racing.
EARLY SUCCESS
Wildgust’s path to Pro Stock was influenced by family friend Eric Latino, who suggested she focus on this technically demanding class rather than pursue other racing categories. Her dedication led her to spend a month at KB Titan Racing’s shop in July 2023, training intensively with Dallas Glenn and others. This preparation paid off when she earned her Pro Stock license in late 2023, setting the stage for her historic debut the following year.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2024: Became the youngest female in NHRA Pro Stock history with her debut at the 55th annual NHRA Gatornationals at the age of 17.
- 2024: Reset career-best speed in Sonoma with a speed of 210.77 mph.
- 2024: Competed in the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, her fourth event in the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.
REPUTATION
In the competitive world of NHRA Pro Stock, Sienna has quickly established herself as a determined young talent with significant potential. Mentored by six-time world champion Erica Enders at Elite Motorsports, she is known for her cautious and learning-focused approach to racing. Despite her youth, she has earned respect for her dedication to mastering the technical aspects of Pro Stock racing, with even seasoned competitors like Dallas Glenn noting her promising future in the sport.
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
With her position at Elite Motorsports representing the Cuadra brand, Sienna aims to continue breaking boundaries in Pro Stock racing. Inspired by champions like Erica Enders and 2022 NHRA Rookie of the Year Caruso, she is determined to carve her own path in the sport and compete at the highest level of NHRA competition.
