Olin Allen & Sara Christian flip during a National Stock Car Racing Association (NSCRA) event held at Lakewood Speedway on November 20th 1949. Allen colliding with Christian on the 23rd lap causing both drivers to flip multiple times. Allen suffered a broken back in the crash while Christian cracked two of her vertebrae.
