The recent Dubai International Baja the final round of the FIA World Championship for Cross Country Rallies was held in the Qudra Desert south of Dubai. EMSO organised the 380kms route across two days, and each 190kms special was divided into 3 loops allowing Bikers and Quads to reach the refuel point each time. Lionel and Lucie Baud entered their JCW Rally 3.0i Mini Cooper and kept in touch with the leaders throughout the two days. The crew finishing in 4th place overall and 3rd in the Ultimate Class. About 7 minutes separated the Mini crews at the end of the Baja, again a good job well done. Hoping to see Lionel and Lucie again soon.
