GRRL! SUMMARY:
- ISABELLA ROBUSTO is returning for her second full ARCA Menards Series season with Nitro Motorsports after they acquired the competitive Venturini program. At 21, she proved she belongs by consistently running in the top-five during her rookie year, with her worst finishes being P10s at Lime Rock and Kansas when she wasn’t dealing with DNFs that cost her championship points.
- The former multi-sport high school athlete has come tantalizingly close to that breakthrough win multiple times, posting P2 finishes at Illinois State Fairgrounds on dirt, Irwindale in the West Series, and Nashville Fairgrounds in the East. Those near-misses show she has the speed to close the deal – now she needs the right opportunity and a bit of racing luck.
- Toyota has ROBUSTO in their development pipeline alongside TAYLOR REIMER, JADE AVEDISIAN, and others, betting she could be the next woman to make a major impact in NASCAR. With Nitro expected to field some of the best Toyota equipment outside of Joe Gibbs Racing, 2026 could finally be the year we see our first woman win a NASCAR-sanctioned race since Hailie Deegan’s K&N victory years ago.
