American racing driver Sabré Cook balances her competitive racing career with her credentials as a mechanical engineer, making her a standout multidisciplinary talent in motorsports.
EARLY YEARS
Born on May 21, 1994, in the United States, Sabré grew up in Colorado where her motorsports journey began at age 8 when her parents introduced her to karting instead of following her father’s motorcycle racing path. With her father owning a kart track, she had early exposure to racing while simultaneously developing strong interests in mathematics and science that eventually led her to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
EARLY SUCCESS
Sabré became the first woman to win a pro shifter kart national championship, receiving a standing ovation during the awards ceremony that highlighted her groundbreaking achievement. In 2007, she claimed her first karting world championship, setting the foundation for her future racing career. Her karting experience included competing in prestigious series like the SKUSA Pro Tour, where she developed skills that would later transfer to her professional racing endeavors.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2012: Won the Superkarts USA S2 Semi-Pro Stock championship.
- 2019: Competed in the W Series with Hitech GP, finishing 12th in the championship with 12 points.
- 2019: Scored first W Series points with an 8th-place finish at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli and 7th place in Nuremberg.
- 2020: Participated in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship with BN Racing with Team Benik, finishing 19th with 47 points.
