PUCK KLAASSEN Returns for Third Dakar Rally Attempt with New Argentine Co-Driver

• PUCK KLAASSEN makes her third Dakar Rally attempt, stepping up from the Classic category where she finished in 2024 with her father in a Porsche Martiny. The young Stellenbosch driver has switched from her previous partnership with Free State bike rider Charan Moore to team up with Argentine co-driver Augusto Sanz in a GRally Lightweight Prototype for the 2026 edition.
• ALIYYAH KOLOC returns to Dakar competition in a Red-Lined REVO T1+ GTR, bringing international experience after her brief 2023 participation in the South African Rally-Raid Championship with navigator Riaan Greyling. While no South African competitors will race Red-Lined vehicles this year, the Midrand constructor continues supporting international talent like Koloc.
• The 2026 Dakar Rally showcases South African engineering prowess with locally-built vehicles from multiple manufacturers taking on the 8,000-kilometer Saudi Arabian challenge. From Toyota Gazoo Racing’s latest Hilux IMT Evo machines to Century Racing’s CR7 and CR6 vehicles, and WCT Engineering’s VW Amaroks, South African craftsmanship will be well-represented across the grueling 15-day event.
