Riley Pegram is a 20-year-old American motorsports racer who has quickly risen through the ranks from karting to professional circuit racing, currently competing alongside her father in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.
EARLY YEARS
Born into a family with deep racing roots, Riley was introduced to motorsports at a young age. Her father, Larry Pegram, is a renowned motorcycle road racer and team owner who has competed in America’s premier series and the Superbike World Championship. After his retirement from full-time motorcycle racing in 2016, Larry focused on building businesses in Ohio and supporting his daughter’s emerging racing career.
EARLY SUCCESS
Riley began her competitive journey at age 16 in karting, quickly ascending through the ranks before transitioning to car racing. In 2023, she made her full-season circuit racing debut with MDK Motorsports in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America, driving a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4. Her debut at Sebring International Raceway showed promise with seventh-place finishes in both races, setting the stage for consistent improvement throughout the season.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
- 2023: Finished 4th overall in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America Cayman Pro/Am standings.
- 2023: Achieved a perfect finishing record across her debut campaign in Porsche Sprint Challenge North America.
