Born in May 1981, Stephanie Carlin grew up in Britain with no immediate connection to motorsport. She attended the University of Nottingham, where she earned a degree in Political Science—a choice that seemed miles away from the high-octane world of racing. She admits she never thought motorsport was in the cards. “I studied politics at university because I never thought…” she’s said, reflecting on how her career path took an unexpected turn.
