GRRL! SUMMARY:
- ISABELLA ROBUSTO delivered in superspeedway racing, qualifying second and taking the lead early to record the most laps led by a female driver in ARCA since 1989. She controlled the field with composure, managing traffic and draft positioning until a suspected driveshaft failure ended her winning bid during a mid-race pit stop – proving she’s championship material.
- TAYLOR REIMER showed maturity on her superspeedway debut, methodically climbing from P24 to run consistently in the top ten despite the challenging qualifying group draw. Her purple machine stayed clean through multiple restarts and she demonstrated smart positioning in the draft, only to have an alternator failure rob her of a top-ten finish with just four laps remaining.
- ALLI OWENS proved that a 16-year absence means nothing when you’ve got the speed, delivering an extraordinary comeback drive that saw her climb from P30 to ninth place on pure pace. The 37-year-old mother matched the leaders’ times and looked set for a storybook top-ten finish before a catastrophic engine failure sent oil across the track and her car into the wall, ending what had been an inspirational return to competition.
