This 1975 Husqvarna 250 CR GP project motorcycle was previously owned by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee Mary McGee. It is believed to be the exact bike she rode in the 1975 Baja 500, where she became the first person and the only woman to finish the race solo.

It is a non-running project with a 245cc two-stroke single engine that turns over with low compression and needs a complete rebuild. The 36mm Bing carburetor is missing its slide, and the exhaust system is absent. Power is sent through a close-ratio six-speed transmission.

Cosmetically, the red fuel tank features hand-painted lettering showing McGee’s name and her sponsor, Wheelsport of Portland. The motorcycle features Akront alloy rims, drum brakes, a telescopic fork, and Girling shocks. It was accompanied by an extensive memorabilia collection, including signed number plates, race jerseys, and historical photographs documenting her career. #motocross #roadracing #dirtbike
