Brainerd was another important chapter in my A/Fuel journey.

After being out of the car for a few months, this weekend was all about getting comfortable again, building confidence, and continuing to learn every time I went down the track. We had to work through a few mechanical issues along the way, but the team kept fighting and we were able to make it all the way to the semifinals.

Unfortunately, the weekend came to an end with a red light in the semis, but I’m leaving Brainerd feeling much better than when we arrived. Every run gave me more confidence in the car, and I feel like we made real progress as a team.

Now the focus shifts to the biggest race of the season — the U.S. Nationals. I’m excited to take everything we learned in Brainerd and keep building as we move into the next step of this journey.
