Gabrielly's bio:
Gabrielly Lewis is a Brazilian motorcycle road racer from Osasco who won back-to-back Brazilian R3 Cup titles before crossing into North American competition with MotoAmerica’s Team Brazil.
EARLY YEARS
Born on November 10, 2003, in Osasco, Brazil, Gabrielly Lewis grew up inside a racing family. [1] Her father, Carlos Lewis, is a team owner and manager; her older brother Danilo Lewis is a Superbike racer. [1] The family connection didn’t just shape her environment — it handed her her first motorcycle.
In 2016, at age 12, she showed up to a Honda Junior Cup selection ride without knowing how to shift gears. She completed the entire selection in first gear. [2] “Comecei sem saber nada. Fiz a seletiva só de primeira marcha, porque não sabia nem trocar de marchar. Aí meu irmão foi me ensinando, meu pai também,” she said. [2] That inauspicious start — all torque, no gearbox — turned out to be the beginning of something real. A foot injury at the end of 2018 kept her off the bike until early 2019, a setback that interrupted but didn’t derail her development. [2]
OTHER INTERESTS
Lewis has built a cross-training regimen that goes well beyond track time. By 2021 she had added boxing to her routine, fitting in three sessions a week alongside circuit training that included running and cycling. [2] MotoAmerica’s rider profile notes that cycling and running remain regular parts of her off-bike life. [1] She also trained at a kart track, particularly when her brother was back in Brazil. [2] In 2024, she said that returning to motorcycle training reminded her how good competing made her feel, and that she was eager to do more of it. [3]
EARLY SUCCESS
The years between her gear-shifting lesson and her first championship title aren’t fully documented in the record, but the result of that development phase is clear. Gabrielly Lewis won the Brazilian R3 Cup in 2020, then defended the title in 2021 — two consecutive championships in a class she had grown into on her own terms. [1]
In 2021, she was also reported as vice-champion of the São Paulo championship, adding regional recognition alongside the national title. [2] By August of that year, she was already thinking ahead: her plan for the following season was to step up to the 400cc class and continue building. [2]
That step eventually came. In 2023, she was entered in the SuperBike Brasil Suhai 400 Cup at Interlagos, where she won her category race outright. [4] The same year, she made her MotoAmerica debut with Team Brazil in the Junior Cup, contesting select rounds, scoring points at four of them, and recording her best finish — tenth overall — at Road America. She ranked 25th for the season. [1]
International competition expanded further in 2024. She placed third in the Italika Women’s International Cup round in Mérida, Mexico, in May, and fifth at the Racing Bike México round of the same series in November. [3] That November result earned recognition from Osasco’s municipal government, which noted her achievement as part of its athlete-scholarship program that had been supporting her career. [3]
She returned to MotoAmerica in 2025, racing in the Twins Cup with Team Brazil on a Yamaha YZF-R7 for the final two weekends of the season. Her best finish was 18th at New Jersey Motorsports Park. [1] For 2026, she remained with Team Brazil in the Twins Cup on the same Yamaha YZF-R7. [1]

INSPIRATIONS
The person she points to most directly is her brother Danilo. In 2021, she described what she admires about him in precise terms: “O que mais me inspira, é o jeito como ele batalha. Ele sempre batalhou, desde muito jovem, para conseguir conquistar o que ele vem conquistando, como andar lá fora e andar muito bem.” [2] It is his work ethic — the sustained effort from a young age to earn a place on the international stage — that she holds up as a model, not merely the result.
REPUTATION
MotoAmerica identifies her officially as a “two-time Brazilian R3 Cup Champion.” [1] Beyond the title designation, her trajectory — from a 12-year-old who didn’t know how to shift gears to a rider competing in North America’s premier road racing series — is the more telling part of the record. She has received support through Osasco’s municipal athlete-scholarship program, which recognized her 2024 results in Mexico as a marker of distinction for the city. [3]
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
Entering the 2026 MotoAmerica season with Team Brazil in the Twins Cup on a Yamaha YZF-R7, Gabrielly Lewis has stated she is aiming for podiums. [1] She has named Road America — where she recorded her best MotoAmerica result in 2023 — as her favorite circuit. [1]
