In 2018, 17-year-old Sophia Floersch was racing in the Macau Grand Prix when everything suddenly went wrong.
Her car hit the KERB AT 276 KM/H, launching it over another car and through the barrier into the PHOTOGRAPHERS’ AREA.
Five people were taken to hospital, including Floersch, who suffered a SPINAL FRACTURE.
Remarkably, she remained conscious after the crash and later underwent surgery.
What looked like an impossible flight through the air was actually one of the most terrifying crashes in modern FORMULA 3 racing.
