GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • ALISHA PALMOWSKI clinched the 2026 F1 Academy title at COTA with three rounds still to run, becoming only the second British champion after Abbi Pulling in 2024.
  • The Red Bull-backed Brit has been dominant all season, winning five of 11 races and taking six pole positions to build an insurmountable 70-point gap.
  • ALBA LARSEN denied PALMOWSKI a clean Austin sweep, taking the Reverse Grid Race win to give a glimpse of her raw pace heading into the season finale.
  • EMMA FELBERMAYR remains Palmowski’s closest championship rival but a maximum 67 points available makes the title mathematically out of reach.
