Video Description from YouTube:

Maria Grazia “Lella” Lombardi was born on 26 March 1941 in Frugarolo, Italy, the daughter of a butcher who couldn’t even afford a car. She started racing before she even had a license, working her way up through Formula Monza and Formula 3, and won the 1973 Italian Ford Mexico Championship. After impressing in Formula 5000, Italian nobleman Count Vittorio Zanon funded her entry into Formula One in 1975 with March. That season, at the Spanish Grand Prix, the race was stopped early after Rolf Stommelen’s crash — Lombardi crossed the line sixth and was awarded half a point, making her the first and only woman in history to score in Formula One World Championship history, a record that still stands today. She competed in 17 Grands Prix between 1974 and 1976 for Brabham, March, Williams, and RAM, then moved into sports cars, winning the 1979 6 Hours of Pergusa and Vallelunga. She retired in 1988 and died of breast cancer in Milan on 3 March 1992, aged just 50 — but her name remains etched in F1 history forever.
