I’m very honored to be the first woman there. But hopefully, I won’t be the last.
It’s something I carry with me since before I was born.
I’m not overly concerned with the added spotlight that comes with being a woman… focus remains on performance, not perception.

FULL BIO: Regina Sirvent
Regina Sirvent is a Mexican NASCAR driver who made history as the first woman to win in the NASCAR Mexico Truck Series and the first Hispanic driver to win an international NASCAR race. Born into a racing family with a grandfather who was a former rally champion, she’s blazing trails for women and minorities in motorsports while climbing the NASCAR ladder.
EARLY YEARS
Born on February 13, 2003, Regina was practically destined for the racetrack. Her grandfather José Sirvent was a former rally driver and 1974 Mexican Rally Champion, creating a motorsports legacy that would shape her future. She started karting around age 7 and spent seven years honing her skills in both Mexico and the United States before making the jump to NASCAR-sanctioned competition. When NASCAR returned to Mexico in 2017, 14-year-old Regina seized the opportunity and entered the NASCAR Mexico Truck Series full-time, marking the beginning of what would become a groundbreaking career.
OTHER INTERESTS
While racing dominates her life, Regina has connections to the music world through her sponsorship relationship with Regional Mexican music band Grupo Firme. Beyond the track, she’s actively involved in mentoring and representation roles within NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program, where she’s currently the only Hispanic woman participant.
EARLY SUCCESS
Regina’s transition from karting to professional NASCAR competition was swift and impressive. After seven years of karting experience, she jumped into the NASCAR Mexico Truck Series in 2017 and quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with. Her natural talent and determination paid off when she became the first woman to win a race in the NASCAR Mexico Truck Series, a historic achievement that announced her arrival on the motorsports scene. She followed that breakthrough with additional victories and consistent podium finishes, proving her inaugural win wasn’t a fluke.

INSPIRATIONS
Regina’s biggest inspiration comes from within her own family. Her grandfather José Sirvent’s rally racing career and 1974 Mexican Rally Championship provided the foundation for her motorsports dreams. “It’s something I carry with me since before I was born,” she has said about her family’s racing legacy. The return of NASCAR to Mexico in 2017 was also pivotal, providing the perfect timing for her to transition from karting to professional competition. She draws motivation from opening doors for other Hispanic drivers and has expressed admiration for fellow Mexican NASCAR competitor Daniel Suárez.
REPUTATION
Regina is widely regarded as a trailblazer in the truest sense, earning respect not just for breaking barriers but for her genuine racecraft and steady progress up the NASCAR ladder. The motorsports media consistently portrays her in a positive light, focusing on her historic achievements and role model status within the Hispanic and female racing communities. She’s known for her mature approach to the spotlight, stating she’s “not overly concerned with the added spotlight that comes with being a woman” and preferring to focus on performance rather than perception. Her inclusion in NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program and her growing fan base—evidenced by being voted into the 2024 NASCAR race at the Coliseum—demonstrate both industry recognition and public support.
FUTURE GOALS/PLANS
Regina is set to make her ARCA Menards Series debut in 2025, driving the No. 68 Ford for Kimmel Racing with a partial schedule that includes Michigan International Speedway. She’s also tested with Mullins Racing at the 2025 ARCA pre-season Daytona test, expanding her opportunities in the series. Her ultimate goal remains reaching the NASCAR Cup Series, and she’s focused on building the experience and sponsorship relationships necessary to make that leap. “I’m very excited and looking forward [to] the things we can do as a team,” she said about her future prospects. “We can keep opening doors together, push more Hispanics to fulfill their dreams.” With backing from sponsors like Kotex, Grupo Firme, and Musica VIP, Regina is positioned to continue her historic climb through NASCAR’s ranks.
