• We’re seeing another weekend where the women racers who should be headlining these stories are conspicuously absent from the coverage. While Cory West took the Super Hooligan win at The Ridge, this report reads like a who’s who of the usual suspects without acknowledging whether any women even lined up for this race.
• The results rundown gives us the top five finishers – West, James Rispoli, Jake Lewis, Dominic Doyle, and Cody Wyman – but leaves us wondering if this was truly a five-rider field or if women competitors simply didn’t make the cut for mention in what amounts to a press release disguised as race coverage.
