• AI MIURA delivered her strongest performance of 2025, climbing from 15th on the grid to finish 14th in a red-flagged race one at Fuji. The 2020 Kyojo Cup champion’s season-best result came despite chaotic conditions that saw the race halted twice and ended under safety car with only half points awarded.
• Former Kyojo Cup champions MIKI ONAGA and RIO SHIMONO joined MIURA in the field, bringing their grassroots experience to the national stage. ONAGA maintained 18th in the opener and showed promising pace in race two, climbing to 16th before finishing 20th, while SHIMONO faced a tougher weekend with a non-start in race one and 24th in race two.
• The weekend showcased how Kyojo Cup veterans are translating their single-seater experience into Japanese F4 competition. MIURA’s impressive six-lap climb of five positions in race two to finish 17th demonstrated the racecraft these women developed in the all-female championship, proving their skills transfer effectively to mixed-gender competition at the national level.
