GRRL! SUMMARY:
- ISABELLA ROBUSTO heads into IRP riding momentum from her career-best third-place finish at Dover last week, bringing proven short track skills that have served her well throughout her ARCA career. The Venturini Motorsports driver will be making her stock car debut at the 0.686-mile Indiana oval, but her track record on similar layouts suggests she’ll adapt quickly to the challenge.
- LANIE BUICE faces her biggest test yet as she tackles her first ARCA national series start on a short track, though her extensive background in late model competition on smaller ovals should translate well. The Rev Racing driver has impressed in her limited ARCA opportunities this season, recording top-10 finishes in both of her previous starts on 1.5-mile tracks, proving she belongs in the national spotlight.
- Both women enter Friday’s race with their teams in strong positions – Robusto’s Venturini organization is fielding three cars as part of their collaboration with Nitro Motorsports, while Buice joins teammate Lavar Scott in Rev Racing’s two-car effort. With 35 drivers entered and only 34 starting spots available, the competitive pressure will be intense from the moment practice begins.
UPCOMING:
- ARCA Menards Series LiUNA! 150 – July 25, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park
- NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series – July 25, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park
