LANIE BUICE Goes From Broken Collarbone to National Racing Stages in 5 Years

• LANIE BUICE’s racing career literally started with a bang – a go-kart flip that broke her collarbone at 13. Instead of ending her racing dreams, it launched them when her protective mom steered her toward safer Legend Cars with full roll cages. Now 18, the Georgia driver is proving that sometimes the best opportunities come disguised as setbacks.
• Unlike her peers who grew up with racing in their blood, BUICE carved her own path from a backyard dirt track her dad built to national stages. She’s currently running 15th in CARS Tour standings with Lee Pulliam Performance and made her ARCA East debut at Rockingham, starting fifth and finishing eighth – not bad for someone who had to beg her way into her first go-kart experience.
• BUICE isn’t just collecting seat time; she’s building a legitimate racing resume with Rev Racing handling her ARCA Menards Series campaign at Kansas and Charlotte. Her approach combines old-school networking (yes, she hands out business cards at NASCAR races) with genuine talent, proving that determination and smart partnerships can level the playing field when you don’t have racing royalty for parents.
