RIONA TOMISHITA Takes Maiden FCR Vita Win With KILEI KANEMOTO Making It 1-2

RIONA TOMISHITA delivered a masterclass drive from fourth on the grid to claim her maiden FCR Vita victory in just her third series start. The KTMS driver made a calculated charge through the field on wet tires, picking off competitors one by one before executing a brilliant pass on leader Ryohei Arioka on lap six and never looking back. Her win also secured victory in the KYOJO Vita class, proving she’s quickly adapting to the series despite being relatively new to the competition.
KILEI KANEMOTO put on an equally impressive show, starting from the front row and immediately going on the attack for the lead against pole-sitter Toshiya Oono. Though she initially lost positions in the mid-race shuffle, KANEMOTO showed her racecraft by executing a carbon-copy move of TOMISHITA’s earlier pass to reclaim second place on the final lap. Her persistence and race management skills earned her the fastest lap and secured the KYOJO Vita class 1-2 alongside TOMISHITA.
The FCR Vita field showcased serious depth with 11 KYOJO VITA entries, including veterans like TOMOKO FUJISHIMA who brings eight seasons of Kyojo Cup experience, plus seasoned competitors MAI YASUI, SARIA OIKAWA, KOTOMI MAEDA and YUKI KANAI. YASUI rounded out the KYOJO Vita podium in seventh overall, while OIKAWA and YUKI OKAMOTO completed the class top five, proving the competition level remains fierce across the entire field of experienced racers.
