ABBI PULLING Battles Car Balance Issues for P16 Best at Spa GB3 Round

June 3, 2025

GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • ABBI PULLING endured a frustrating Spa weekend in GB3, with car balance issues plaguing her throughout all three races and leaving her with a best finish of 16th. After dominating F1 Academy with nine wins from 14 races in 2024, the step up to GB3’s more powerful Tatuus machinery at legendary circuits is proving a significant challenge for the championship-winning driver.
  • The Rodin Motorsport driver showed promise at her Silverstone debut with top-five and top-six finishes, but subsequent rounds at Zandvoort and now Spa have exposed the learning curve she faces. At the Belgian circuit she’d never raced before, PULLING qualified 12th and 13th across the two sessions, unable to find a setup that gave her confidence on the high-speed track despite running competitively in practice.
  • Across Saturday’s races, PULLING found herself battling in 14th-17th positions as faster drivers on different strategies and with better car balance moved past her. The final wet-to-dry race particularly highlighted the strategic complexities of GB3, where tire choice and timing can make or break results. Her honest post-race assessment—”struggling a lot since Silverstone”—shows the self-awareness needed to turn things around at the upcoming Hungaroring round.
