AMY RUMAN Returns as KAYLEE BRYSON & MIA LOVELL Ready Trans Am 2025 Sebring

• Two-time TA champion AMY RUMAN returns to mentor the next generation while defending her competitive edge in the McNichols Co./Valley Automotive Group Chevrolet Corvette. As one of only three female champions in Trans Am history, Ruman’s presence adds serious credibility to the series’ diversity efforts – and she’s not just here for show, having won at Sebring back in 2015 and consistently finishing top-five at this track over the past five years.
• Last year’s SGT champion KAYLEE BRYSON is making the jump to the faster XGT class with her Logical Systems Inc. Chevrolet Corvette, becoming the third female champion in Trans Am history. This move puts her directly in competition with some of the series’ most established drivers, and as a PMH Powering Diversity Scholarship recipient, she’s proving that investment in women’s racing pays off with championship-level results.
• Rookie MIA LOVELL debuts with Nitro Motorsports after an unconventional path to racing – adopted from China, she was a professional skateboarder who never touched a kart until 2023, yet became the first female driver to crack the top 10 in Toyota GR Cup. Her full-time campaign in the competitive TA2 field shows how quickly talent can translate across disciplines when given the right opportunity and support.
• Racing legend LYN ST. JAMES serves as Grand Marshal, bringing her seven Indianapolis 500 starts, two Daytona 24 Hours wins, and 53 Trans Am starts to the ceremony. As co-founder of Women in Motorsports North America, St. James represents the bridge between pioneering women who fought for recognition and today’s drivers who benefit from that groundwork – a fitting choice for a series actively investing in diversity through scholarship programs.
