• ASHLEY FREIBERG will miss Road America after her Kellymoss Porsche was totaled in the Watkins Glen multi-car accident – through no fault of her own, according to team co-owner Victoria Thomas. The crash put a “financial dent” in her planned full-season campaign, but Kellymoss remains committed: “She will always have a place on Team Kellymoss,” though they need sponsorship to get her back on track.
• MADELINE STEWART and SABRE COOK from JDX Racing are competing at Road America as part of Porsche’s Female Driver program. Both drivers recently participated in an exclusive Team Penske experience alongside 11 other junior and female program drivers, getting hands-on pit stop practice with Penske’s Porsche 963 and NASCAR Cup cars plus seminars on marketing and media.
