GRRL! SUMMARY:
- ASHLEY FREIBERG showed impressive adaptability on her Montreal debut, quickly learning Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and improving her lap times by nearly two seconds from practice to qualifying, ultimately securing 11th on the grid despite never having raced the track before.
- Race one ended in frustration when contact with SABRE COOK at turn three sent FREIBERG into the wall and out of the race – another example of her rookie season results not reflecting her actual pace and racecraft abilities in the competitive Porsche Carrera Cup field.
- The Kellymoss driver bounced back brilliantly in race two, methodically working her way through the field with personal best lap times and engaging in a thrilling late-race battle with COOK for position, ultimately crossing the line 11th before being promoted to 10th after penalties.
UPCOMING:
- Porsche Carrera Cup at Watkins Glen
- IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship support races
