GRRL! SUMMARY:
- Australia finally gets representation in the F1 Academy with teenagers JOANNE CICONTE joining MP Motorsport and AIVA ANAGNOSTIADIS signing with Hitech TGR for 2025. These two are breaking new ground as the first Australians to compete in the all-female series that’s designed as a pathway to F1.
- CICONTE brings serious credentials to MP Motorsport, including her 2023 Australian Karting Championship Pink Plate victory and experience in both Australian and Spanish F4. She’s clearly thrilled about racing in front of F1 crowds during Grand Prix weekends, calling it “a dream come true.”
- ANAGNOSTIADIS rounds out the Australian contingent with her own international experience, having competed at the Motorsport Games and driven in Indian F4 last year. With seven rounds starting March 21 in China, both drivers will be pushing to prove that Australia has serious female talent ready for the global stage.
