GRRL! SUMMARY:
- The all-female GirlsOnly team showed exactly why we don’t count women out until the checkered flag falls. After PATRICIJA STALIDZANE’s midnight crash left their BMW M4 GT4 with significant front-end damage, the crew worked until 3 AM to get CARRIE SCHREINER, FABIENNE WOHLWEND, and JANINA SCHALL back in the fight. Starting from 62nd on the grid, they were running podium pace before the setback—proving they belonged up front all along.
- While other AT3 teams with female drivers faced their own drama—JASMIN PREISIG’s Golf retiring with technical issues and the Kreutzpointner twins’ Porsche going up in flames—GirlsOnly kept grinding. Through sweltering heat with failed air conditioning and 13 laps down, SCHREINER delivered a masterclass in racecraft, hunting down the #888 BMW in the final moments to secure fourth place. That last-lap overtake? Pure driving skill under maximum pressure.
- What makes this result even sweeter is watching rookies SCHALL and STALIDZANE hold their own at the Ring’s most demanding event. SCHALL, in her 24-hour debut, didn’t just survive—she thrived, chasing down class leaders and proving she belongs on this stage. The team’s “we kept pushing and didn’t give up” mentality is exactly the relentless spirit we love to see, turning what could have been a DNF into a statement fourth-place finish that had podium written all over it.
