GRRL! SUMMARY:
- CHARLOTTE BIRCH finally broke through for her first points of the Milltek Civic Cup season with a hard-earned 15th place finish in race one at Brands Hatch. Starting from a strong 13th on the grid, the Vinna Sport driver battled through intense midfield scraps and pulled off a crucial final-lap pass on Sam Nicolaou to claim that elusive first points finish.
- Race two showcased BIRCH’s racecraft as she launched from 15th to an impressive ninth position on the opening lap, expertly threading between spinning cars at Druids corner. While she ultimately finished 16th – missing points by just two tenths of a second – her smart driving on cold tires and ability to capitalize on others’ mistakes demonstrated the progress she’s been building toward all season.
- The weekend’s momentum was derailed in race three when BIRCH was spun from behind at Surtees after avoiding an earlier three-wide incident at Druids. Despite the setback dropping her to the back of the field, she methodically worked her way back up to 24th, showing the kind of determination that suggests bigger things are coming as the series heads to Silverstone next month.
