GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • CHLOE CHAMBERS delivered a commanding performance for Mahindra Racing, sweeping both morning and afternoon sessions at Valencia’s Formula E Women’s Test with a best time of 1m22.767s. The American showed serious improvement from last year, focusing on one-lap pace and adapting her driving style to extract maximum speed from the Gen3 EVO car.
  • ABBI PULLING, last year’s Women’s Test winner, pushed CHAMBERS hard but came up just 0.064s short for Nissan. The gap between these two and the rest of the field was substantial – BIANCA BUSTAMANTE claimed third for Cupra Kiro but was over seven-tenths behind, proving we’ve got a clear top tier emerging in women’s Formula E testing.
  • The 14-driver field showcased depth across teams, with ALICE POWELL and ELLA LLOYD representing Envision Racing in fourth and fifth, though POWELL’s day was cut short by a battery system error. Veterans JAMIE CHADWICK (sixth for Jaguar) and TATIANA CALDERON (seventh for Citroen) kept pace, while NEREA MARTI, JUJI NODA, and MARYA GARCIA rounded out the top-10 across different manufacturers.

UPCOMING:

  • Formula E Season 11 begins December 2024
  • Next women’s development opportunities TBA
