• GRACIE MITCHELL reminded everyone why consistency pays off with her strongest weekend yet in the #128 Ginetta, securing second in GTX class and third overall in Race 2 – her first overall podium this season. After making her series debut at Estoril with a class win, Mitchell has been steadily building momentum, and this performance shows she’s not just here to participate but to compete at the sharp end where she belongs.
• ALBA VÁZQUEZ faced the kind of weekend that tests character more than speed, battling technical gremlins and a pit lane start in Race 1 that derailed her title hopes. Despite the McLaren’s steering issues in qualifying and the subsequent drama, she and co-driver Alfonso Colomina fought back to sixth in class both races, showing the kind of resilience that keeps you coming back for more punishment in motorsport.
• The split-grid format at Jerez created intense GTX battles where our women drivers consistently ran at the front, with Mitchell and GRANT trading fastest laps and proving they can wheel-to-wheel race with anyone.
