GRRL! SUMMARY:
- CINDY GUDET delivered one of the most consistent solo campaigns we’ve seen, scoring championship points in all 11 races throughout the 2025 Ligier European Series season. Running without a co-driver in the JS2 R division, she matched her season-best fourth-place finish in the Portimao finale after an absolutely masterful recovery drive from dead last following an early off-track excursion. Her ability to claw back through the field showed exactly why she’s been racking up podiums in GT4 European Series alongside Gabriela Jílková.
- The season finale weekend showcased GUDET’s racecraft perfectly – she qualified seventh and fifth for the two races, then turned that into a fourth and seventh finish respectively. That first race was particularly impressive: after dropping to 11th on lap one, she systematically picked off rivals with smart overtakes and faster lap times, eventually hunting down championship rival Martin Lacquemanne in a nail-biting final stint that saw her defend her position with just tenths to spare at the checkered flag.
- While GUDET narrowly missed fourth in the championship standings by five points to Lacquemanne, her season proved that consistency beats flash every time. Four fourth-place finishes across the campaign, combined with her perfect points-scoring record, demonstrates the kind of steady excellence that wins championships. Her experience at iconic European circuits while managing multi-class traffic as a solo driver has clearly prepared her well for whatever comes next in her motorsports journey.
