GRRL! SUMMARY:
- EMELY DE HEUS is making the leap from F1 Academy to GT racing after F1 Academy’s two-year limit forced her out despite scoring points seven times in 2024. The 21-year-old Dutchwoman showed she belonged in single seaters with a breakthrough victory in Barcelona during her rookie F1 Academy season, proving she could adapt and win when given proper machinery and support.
- Her GT debut at Dubai’s 24 Hours was classic DE HEUS – immediate pace and rapid learning that had her running in class lead before a car fire ended her race. That performance was enough to convince ID Racing she’s ready for the full Porsche Carrera Cup Germany campaign, one of the world’s most competitive national series that’s launched plenty of sports car careers.
- The timing couldn’t be better for DE HEUS to showcase her talent in a series that actually rewards consistency over two full seasons rather than F1 Academy’s frustrating graduation limit. With eight double-headers supporting WEC and DTM events, she’ll have proper exposure and race craft development opportunities that could finally give her the platform her speed deserves.
