PALMOWSKI crowned Champion among COTA’s standout stars

October 26, 2026

• ALISHA PALMOWSKI sealed the 2026 F1 Academy title at COTA — her fifth win of the season plus a crucial P2 in the Reverse Grid Race clinched it three rounds early, silencing doubts about her reverse-grid pace.
• ALBA LARSEN converted strong race pace into her maiden F1 Academy victory in the Reverse Grid Race, adding two Austin podiums to her tally, though a Feature Race clash with Palmowski earned her a carryover grid penalty for Las Vegas.
• Rookie JADE JACQUET finally opened her points account in Austin, battling to P4 in the Feature Race after contact wrecked her podium shot — her best championship finish yet and a confidence boost heading to Las Vegas.
• LISA BILLARD delivered her most consistent weekend, scoring in all three races for the first time and climbing inside the top 10 in the standings, with a measured P2 defence in the Reverse Grid Race her highlight.
• NINA GADEMAN produced her finest drive of 2026 in the Feature Race, seizing the lead around the outside of Turn 1 and holding on for victory — reigniting her bid for Vice-Champion honours heading into Las Vegas.
