• A dozen young women hit Nottingham’s karting track in October as part of a groundbreaking initiative to fix F1’s glaring pipeline problem – no competitive women drivers in 50 years since LELLA LOMBARDI in 1976. Eleven-year-olds MEGAN and ERIN showed natural talent, with Megan claiming victory on her second attempt and Erin drawing on her F1 viewing knowledge to navigate the track.
• More Than Equal is tackling systemic barriers head-on with their Driver Development Programme that acknowledges the physiological and psychological realities women face in motorsports.
