GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • Formula E doubled down on their commitment to women’s development by expanding the All-Women’s Test to six hours – twice last year’s allocation. CHLOE CHAMBERS (Mahindra Racing) made the most of it, topping the timesheets with a 1:22.767s that showed she’s extracted serious pace from the GEN3 Evo machinery. The fact that nine women drivers were within tenths of the official drivers after just one day proves what we’ve been saying all along: give them proper seat time and they deliver.
  • ABBI PULLING (Nissan) backed up her fastest time from last year’s inaugural test with another strong showing, finishing just 0.064s behind Chambers while completing her entire program. Her focus on race simulation technique shows the kind of comprehensive development that comes when teams actually invest in their women drivers. BIANCA BUSTAMANTE (CUPRA KIRO) rounded out the top three despite admitting she “left quite a lot of potential on the table” – which should have everyone else worried about what she’ll do with more seat time.
  • The depth of talent ran deep with ALICE POWELL (Envision Racing) finishing fourth despite missing significant afternoon running due to technical issues, while her teammate ELLA LLOYD claimed fifth. JAMIE CHADWICK (Jaguar), TATIANA CALDERON (Citroën), and NEREA MARTÍ (Andretti) filled out the top eight, with JUJU NODA making her Formula E debut in ninth. Fourteen elite women drivers getting proper machinery time isn’t charity – it’s smart business when the results speak this loudly.

UPCOMING:

  • Formula E Season 12 Opener – São Paulo, December 6
