GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • HAILIE DEEGAN quietly put together a solid 11th-place finish at Phoenix despite the chaos around her, finishing just 2.883 seconds behind winner Carson Brown in her NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet. While the race grabbed headlines for its nine cautions and 53 yellow flag laps, Deegan stayed out of trouble and capitalized on others’ misfortune to secure a respectable result in the combination national and West Series event.
  • ISABELLA ROBUSTO had her night derailed early when contact with Eric Johnson Jr. brought out a caution on Lap 22 in Turn 2, after Johnson got loose and sideways into her Mobil 1 Toyota. The incident dropped Robusto down the running order, and she later got collected in a massive backstretch wreck that took out multiple competitors including Jade Avedisian and Taylor Reimer, ultimately finishing 21st, seven laps down.
  • JADE AVEDISIAN’s Phoenix debut turned into a nightmare when her Yahoo Toyota suffered a battery failure right after a restart at Lap 27, forcing an immediate caution and ending her night early. She managed just 142 laps before parking with mechanical issues, finishing 28th and 15 laps down in what should have been a promising opportunity to showcase her talent on the national stage in the combined series format.

UPCOMING:

  • Kansas Speedway – April 18, 12:30 p.m. ET (FS1/MRN)
  • ARCA Menards Series continues national tour
