JAMIE CHADWICK Retained as Genesis Delays IMSA Entry to Mid-2027

• While Genesis Magma Racing pushes back their IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut to mid-2027, targeting Watkins Glen instead of the brutal Daytona opener, JAMIE CHADWICK gets the nod to continue with their expanded Trajectory Program for next year. Team principal Cyril Abiteboul confirmed she’ll remain part of the scheme that’s getting bigger ambitions.
• The delay gives Genesis more development time for their GMR-001 LMDh car after their 2026 WEC debut, but it also means CHADWICK and other Trajectory drivers will get IMSA activities next year – strategic prep work that positions them perfectly for when Genesis finally commits fully to American racing.
• Genesis is eyeing Bryan Herta Autosport as their likely partner team for the eventual IMSA program, with plans for both cars to enter mid-season rather than the original single-car strategy.
