GABRIELA JILKOVÁ & CINDY GUDET Battle Back for Fourth at Zandvoort GT4

• The all-female MATMUT EVOLUTION duo of GABRIELA JILKOVÁ and CINDY GUDET proved their Pro-Am championship credentials at Zandvoort, bouncing back from a Race 1 retirement caused by contact to secure fourth place in class during Sunday’s second race. Selected through the “Volant 100% Féminin Matmut” initiative promoting gender equality in motorsport, the pairing combines JILKOVÁ’s GT4 veteran experience with GUDET’s rapid development from hillclimb ace to sportscar contender in just her second full season.
• Despite qualifying challenges with tire temperature and traffic at the Dutch circuit, both drivers delivered solid grid positions—JILKOVÁ fifth in Pro-Am class and GUDET fourth. Race 1 started promisingly with JILKOVÁ climbing positions before handing off to GUDET, who was running competitively in fifth when contact from another car sent her spinning into the gravel with suspension damage, forcing retirement despite completing over 75% of race distance.
• Sunday’s Race 2 showcased the team’s resilience as GUDET started fourth in class and navigated multiple safety car periods and on-track incidents, including contact with the Razoon Porsche that was ruled a racing incident. After the pit window opened, JILKOVÁ took over and executed a strong recovery drive, overtaking multiple competitors in the final 16 minutes to secure 15th overall and fourth in Pro-Am class, just missing the podium but collecting valuable championship points that keep them sixth in the standings heading to Spa-Francorchamps.
