GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • KATRINA EE finally broke through for her first points of 2025 in the Ginetta Junior Championship’s historic 500th race at Silverstone, finishing 20th despite starting from 23rd on the grid. The Malaysian-Hong Kong driver capitalized on a chaotic weekend where multiple front-runners crashed out, including former race leader Fred Green who spun after contact with eventual winner Rocco Coronel.
  • EE’s weekend with Tim Gray Motorsport started on the back foot with persistent understeer issues that left her qualifying 25th, though she gained two spots when competitors had lap times deleted. While she struggled in the opening race, falling to 24th early on, she steadily climbed through attrition as Noah Young, Felix Livesey, and Felipe Reijs all spun out of contention.
  • The breakthrough came in race two when EE smartly avoided the carnage that claimed multiple drivers, including a multi-car incident involving Torrin Byrne, Alfie Slater, and Scott Lindblom. She moved into the points-paying positions during the safety car period and held on despite falling back to 23rd on the restart, ultimately benefiting when race leader Green spun on the final lap to secure her first points finish of the campaign.
