KATRINA EE Scores P21 Debut Finish in Competitive Ginetta Junior Field

• 14-year-old KATRINA EE made a solid car racing debut at Donington Park’s Ginetta Junior Championship opener, securing P21 in her first-ever race after starting P25. The More Than Equal Driver Development programme member showed clear progression throughout practice, improving her lap times by over a second and demonstrating the composure needed to navigate a 27-car field in one of the UK’s most competitive junior series.
• Racing with Tim Gray Motorsport, EE delivered consistent performances across the weekend, nearly matching her debut result with P22 in race two while setting her fastest lap of the weekend at 1:57.7. Her mistake-free driving and ability to capitalize on others’ misfortunes showed the racecraft instincts that helped her make headlines in Asian karting before stepping up to cars.
• Despite an unfortunate gravel trip ending her third race while running P19 and battling for a top-20 finish, EE’s debut weekend highlighted her potential in a championship known for launching careers in both single-seaters and sportscars. Her mature approach to learning and focus on development over results positions her well for the next round at Silverstone’s full GP circuit on April 26-27.
