GRRL! SUMMARY:
- KATRINA EE tackled one of Britain’s most demanding circuits at Oulton Park, making her debut on the narrow, unforgiving layout that tests even seasoned drivers. The Tim Gray Motorsport rookie improved her lap times by over a second during testing, dropping from 2:08.369 to 2:07.257 as she adapted to the circuit’s unique characteristics and tight racing line.
- Across two dry races, EE delivered consistent performances with matching 22nd place finishes, staying clean and error-free while battling in the competitive midfield. Her pace remained strong throughout both contests, regularly lapping within half a second of her best times and demonstrating the steady progress that’s marked her rookie Ginetta Junior campaign since scoring her first points at Silverstone.
- The weekend’s final race presented EE with her first fully wet conditions of the season, but a lap-two excursion at Druids sent her into the gravel and a lap down. Despite the setback, she rejoined to gain valuable wet-weather experience and avoided a multi-car incident at Lodge corner, banking crucial knowledge for future challenging conditions in one of the world’s most competitive junior single-make series.
