GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • LACHLAN TURNER delivered a masterclass 1-1 sweep at Budds Creek, rallying from outside the top 10 in moto one to win by over 14 seconds in moto two, extending her championship lead to 16 points.
  • CHARLI CANNON maintained pressure with consistent 2-2 finishes but couldn’t match TURNER’s pace, particularly in Saturday’s moto where the gap exceeded 14 seconds at the checkered flag.
  • MIKAYLA NIELSEN secured third overall with 3-3 scores after grabbing the moto-two holeshot, while MAYLA HERRICK’s podium hopes crumbled following a crash and lapped-rider incident despite strong recovery rides.
  • TAYLAH MCCUTCHEON grabbed the moto-one holeshot but faded to fourth before a turn-one crash with BRANDY RICHARDS in moto two derailed their momentum, forcing deep-field recoveries.

UPCOMING:

  • AMA WMX Championship Finale – Ironman Raceway
