• LILOU WADOUX made a strategic career pivot, requesting her release from PONOS Racing’s SUPER GT program to focus entirely on her Ferrari factory commitments in the European Le Mans Series and IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup with AF Corse. The move eliminates scheduling conflicts that would have forced her to miss three ELMS rounds and IMSA’s Indianapolis event.
• Her SUPER GT departure comes after a solid 2023 campaign where she scored a podium finish at Sportsland Sugo in wet conditions alongside Kei Cozzolino, finishing 12th overall in GT300 standings. The timing, while sudden, allows PONOS to integrate replacement driver Takuro Shinohara before the season opener at Okayama.
• WADOUX will now contest the full ELMS season that began at Barcelona, plus the remaining IMSA endurance races, and is slated for Le Mans 24 Hours with regular teammates Riccardo Agostini and Custodio Toledo. This decision was described as personal rather than Ferrari-mandated, suggesting she’s prioritizing the programs that align best with her career trajectory.
