GRRL! SUMMARY:
- LILOU WADOUX found herself at the center of the action during Indianapolis practice when her #21 AF Corse Ferrari made contact with LMP2 leader Mikkel Jensen’s TDS Oreca. The incident brought out one of three red flags in a chaotic session and will cost Jensen his fastest qualifying time as penalty.
- While Jensen had been setting the pace in LMP2 with a 1:17.407 before the contact, the penalty gives us a perfect example of how quickly fortunes can change in endurance racing. WADOUX’s involvement shows she’s right in the thick of competitive action with the established runners.
- The session highlighted the tight competition across all classes, with Tom Blomqvist topping overall times in the #60 MSR Acura and Valentin Hasse-Clot leading GTD. The multiple red flags and close timing gaps suggest we’re in for an intense 6-hour battle at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
