GRRL! SUMMARY:
- LONI UNSER delivered another stellar performance at Road America, securing her fourth runner-up finish of the season in Porsche Sprint Challenge North America’s Cayman Pro/Am class. The Kellymoss driver has now extended her podium streak to four consecutive races, proving she’s become the most consistent threat to the championship leaders this season.
- After topping free practice times and qualifying second, UNSER put serious pressure on championship leader Jens Hantson throughout the race. She stayed within striking distance, getting as close as a quarter-second behind during the restart and consistently posting the fastest times through sector one. That kind of pace differential shows she had the speed to win – sometimes racing luck just isn’t on your side.
- This performance continues UNSER’s impressive momentum from Virginia International Raceway, where she nearly claimed her maiden victory, missing out by less than half a second. With her consistent podium finishes, she’s positioning herself as a serious contender for second place in the championship standings, currently chasing Anna Cecchi for that spot.
