GRRL! SUMMARY:

  • While the men dominated headlines with their GTP victories, MADELINE STEWART was out there putting in work that matters – proving women belong in every category of motorsport. She teamed up with Morgan Burkhard and Gordon Scully to pilot CSM Racing’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport to a solid ninth-place finish in the four-hour IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race.
  • The CSM Racing trio had to watch VPX Racing steal some thunder by leading twice during the race with drivers Matheus Leist and Danny Dyszelski ultimately finishing seventh, just ahead of Stewart’s team. But STEWART was competing wheel-to-wheel with seasoned professionals in a highly competitive field, holding her own in a series that’s produced champions.
  • What we love about this result is that it happened while everyone was focused on the headline 24-hour race. STEWART was just doing what women in motorsport do best – consistently delivering results and building credentials one race at a time.

UPCOMING:

  • Next IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge round TBA
  • IMSA SportsCar Championship continues at Sebring
