GRRL! SUMMARY:
- MAGGIE WEBSTER delivered her strongest qualifying performance yet, securing fifth overall and second in Am class at Donington Park – a circuit she’d never driven before. Despite battling boost issues throughout race one, she held her nerve to claim second in Am class when the race was red-flagged, then backed it up with another podium in the wet conditions of race two. Her weekend ended dramatically when she walked away from a high-speed roll at the final chicane, but not before proving she belongs in the fight for Am class honors.
- MORGAN KIDD showcased exactly why wet weather separates the committed from the cautious, turning what looked like a tough weekend into a masterclass in racecraft. After getting spun on lap one of the opener and falling to dead last, she mounted an impressive recovery drive that had her lapping on pace with the top-10. When the rain came in race two, Kidd was in her element – gaining five spots on lap one alone and ultimately crossing the line seventh overall, sixth in Pro class, matching her career-best result.
- The JRW Motorsport teammates proved they can handle pressure when track conditions turn treacherous, with both drivers showing the kind of adaptability that wins championships. KIDD’s ability to find speed in the wet while maintaining consistency – two seventh-place finishes in the final races – demonstrates the technical skill that’s been building all season. Meanwhile, WEBSTER’s back-to-back Am podiums, achieved while fighting through mechanical gremlins, show she’s not just fast but mentally tough when the going gets rough.
